Patty Sanchez

Awaken. Empower. Guide.

Constantly evolving and embracing change, I remain adaptable to the present moment and seize opportunities for growth in my capacity as an educator. Committed to flexibility and receptiveness, I have reshaped my approach as an instructor and Coordinator, particularly following a year-long course on equity, which has profoundly influenced the creation of a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Dedicated to the belief that every student deserves access to top-notch instruction, educational resources, and avenues for personal growth, I am committed to fostering success in diverse classrooms, whether in person or online teaching. My focus lies in warmly embracing students from varied cultural backgrounds, fostering academic pursuits, and promoting collaboration within a secure learning space. I actively encourage students to celebrate their cultural uniqueness, facilitating connections among peers.

With a wealth of experience as an ESL instructor both internationally and domestically, I have empowered language learners to advocate for themselves. My instructional strategy revolves around honing communicative skills crucial for success in academic, home, and workplace settings. I instill curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a penchant for utilizing digital resources to seek answers to inquiries.

I invite you to peruse my digital curriculum, offering a comprehensive glimpse into my identity as an instructor and the dynamic activities my students engage in during class sessions. The Student Exemplar section features digital media and static artifacts, providing a showcase of my students' achievements. Additionally, the Hobbies section, with clickable photographs, offers a personal insight into who I am beyond the classroom.
